Before you start
After installation, or when Home shows an unfinished setup step.
- Open Rankora from the Shopify store you want to work on.
- Check your brand guidance and publication settings before generating.
- Collection theme placement is about displaying collection text, not displaying Product Meta or image ALT.
Steps to follow
- Open Home and follow any required setup instructions shown there.
- Review your AI Brand Profile and the language in Settings. Save any changes.
- Check publication settings. Leave automatic publication off for a first draft you want to inspect.
- Start the catalog scan and wait until the relevant catalog data is ready.
- Open Products or Image ALT to start there. For Collection SEO, first choose its content destination and complete the corresponding storefront setup.
For example
You can learn how Product Meta works without first learning Liquid or where to position collection content in a theme.
What happens next
You have a current catalog and know whether your next action will make a draft or publish content.
A useful tip. Use one familiar product to check the wording. Then use bulk actions for the larger catalog.
Take care. Do not choose a collection field just because its name looks familiar. Publishing can replace the value in that field.
Common questions
Do I need to write code?
Not for normal Product Meta or Image ALT work. The recommended collection display uses Shopify's Theme Editor. Custom integration is a developer option.
Do I need a paid plan to read the help?
No. The public support page contains the same guides without a subscription or store login.
Why is a setup step still incomplete?
Use Refresh status where available after saving. A saved field and a visible storefront block are separate checks.
If you are still stuck
- For a catalog that is still syncing, open Scan stuck or still importing. For invisible collection content, check the exact theme and template used by that collection.
