Before you start
After choosing a separate collection content field, or when published text is not visible.
- The right theme and the collection's assigned template both matter.
- Saving text and displaying text are separate steps.
- You do not need a collection block to display Product Meta or image ALT.
Steps to follow
- Open Collection SEO and check the integration model under Publishing & storefront.
- For Automatic integration, choose Place block in Theme Editor, or Customize storefront design when setup is already ready.
- In the collection template used by your collection, add or position the Rankora collection content block and save the theme.
- Preview that same collection with published content. Repeat for other templates that should display it.
- For Custom integration, ask your theme developer to verify the selected field rendering instead. Return to Rankora and use Refresh status where available.
For example
Text on a collection assigned to a custom template will not appear merely because you added a block to the default collection template.
What happens next
The theme renders the configured published field in the position you chose. An empty field has no generated text to display.
A useful tip. Check the storefront on a narrow screen as well as on desktop.
Take care. Do not remove unrelated theme sections or change the publication destination to work around a placement problem.
Common questions
Do I need Liquid for the recommended setup?
Normally no. Automatic integration uses the Rankora app block in Shopify's Theme Editor.
Why is the preview different from the live store?
You may be editing an unpublished theme or a different template. Check the active theme and collection assignment.
Can I move the text below the product grid?
Use the placement options your collection template supports. A custom layout may need a theme developer.
If you are still stuck
- If the block is unavailable, check Theme block missing. If the block exists but is empty, confirm the published field and destination.
