Service

Rankora SEO AI provides Shopify SEO analysis, AI-assisted content generation, review, publishing, job history and related merchant tools. Use of the service also depends on Shopify and other third-party services remaining available.

Eligibility and account responsibility

You must be authorized to install and use the app for the Shopify store. You are responsible for activity performed by authorized store users and for maintaining appropriate Shopify access controls.

AI-generated content

AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or unsuitable. Rankora provides a review step and does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, revenue or any specific SEO result. You are responsible for reviewing content, claims, rights and legal compliance before publishing.

Billing and credits

Subscriptions and optional one-time credit purchases are billed through Shopify. Free includes 100 credits every 30 days. Starter includes 1,500 credits every 30 days, Growth 6,000 and Pro 20,000. Free credits expire at the end of their rolling 30-day period. Paid monthly credits reset at the Shopify billing boundary and do not roll over. Purchased credits remain available until used, survive subscription renewal and plan changes, and are consumed after monthly or expiring credits. They add usage capacity but do not unlock higher-plan features.

Additional credits cost $0.01 USD each. Each purchase is between 100 and 100,000 credits in strict increments of 100. The total is shown before Shopify approval. One-time purchases do not renew automatically. Credits are usage entitlements, not cash, stored value or transferable currency.

Generation requires a sufficient credit reservation. Image ALT costs 1 credit per successful image, Product Meta costs 3 credits per successful product, and SEO Text costs 40 credits on High, 36 on Medium or 32 on Basic per successful item. High is the default text quality. Reservations equal the selected item count multiplied by the fixed rate; no safety margin is added. An explicitly requested regeneration is a new billable operation, while technical replays are not charged twice. Failed or skipped resources that produce no usable draft are not charged. Unused reservations return to their original balances, subject to the original expiration; no merchant credit balance can become negative.

Paid downgrades apply at the next Shopify billing cycle. An upgrade adds only the positive allowance difference for the current period. Cancelling to Free removes paid capabilities. Uninstalling disables access and does not automatically refund unused credits. Contact support with the Shopify charge reference for refund or uninstall questions. Refund requests are reviewed through Shopify, subject to applicable rights and Shopify rules. If a refund concerns credits already used, we review the account without creating negative credits. Privacy erasure may erase operational credit records, so a later reinstall is not a guarantee of restoring erased data.

Acceptable use

You must not abuse the service, attempt to bypass access, billing, credit, rate or security controls, interfere with other merchants, or use Rankora for unlawful content or activity.

Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, provider outages, Shopify API limits and events outside reasonable control can affect operation.

Intellectual property

You retain rights you have in the store content you submit. Rankora retains its software, service design, documentation and other proprietary materials. Third-party services remain subject to their own terms.

Termination

You may stop using the service and uninstall the app. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse, non-payment or material breach, subject to applicable law.

Data handling

Our processing of data is described in the Rankora SEO AI Privacy Policy. Privacy requests should be sent to privacy@francke-services.be.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SHERWOOD CONSULTING is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity arising from use of or inability to use Rankora SEO AI. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Subject to mandatory applicable law, disputes concerning Rankora SEO AI fall within the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
