Before you start
When Rankora creates a job or shows work as queued, running, paused, completed or failed.
- Queued means accepted and waiting; Running means work has started.
- A partial outcome can include useful completed work and failed or skipped items.
- Use the available retry or cancel controls instead of starting duplicate work.
Steps to follow
- Open Jobs and find the operation by type, time or identifier.
- Check its status and processed, successful, failed and skipped counts.
- For a draft-generation job, open the resulting drafts. For publication work, check the write outcome and History.
- Use Retry or Cancel only when offered. Keep the job ID if you need support.
For example
A generation can create 80 usable drafts while 20 items fail. Those 80 drafts are useful results, but draft mode has not published them.
What happens next
Job details explain the completed work and the next available action. Refreshing status does not start a new generation.
A useful tip. If an accepted queued job is still running, check it here rather than clicking Generate again.
Take care. Do not interpret every Succeeded status as proof that all intended content is live.
Common questions
Can an accepted job continue after I close its page?
Queued background jobs are processed separately from the page. Return to Jobs to check the result. This does not imply that every browser-driven action or catalog sync behaves the same way.
Does Cancel undo completed work?
No. Already completed generation or publication may remain. Check the final counts and History.
Are unsuccessful items charged?
Items with no usable generated result are not charged for generation. Successful usable results can be charged even in a partially failed job.
If you are still stuck
- If progress remains unchanged, refresh the job once and keep its ID for support. Do not retry successful items just to recover failed ones.
