Before you start
Before a generation, or when you want to understand a balance or partial result.
- Image ALT costs 1 credit per successful image. Product Meta costs 3 per successful product.
- Collection SEO costs 40 credits at High, 36 at Medium or 32 at Basic per successful item.
- Monthly credits expire at the end of their period. Purchased credits do not expire or renew automatically.
Steps to follow
- Open Pricing, also described as Plans & credits, and check your available balances.
- Review the item count, quality where available, and estimated generation cost.
- Start the operation only when you agree to its scope and cost. Rankora reserves credits for accepted work.
- When it finishes, compare the successful, failed and skipped counts. Unused reservations are released according to their original credit period.
For example
For 100 ALT images, 80 usable results cost 80 credits, not 100. The 20 items without a usable result are not charged for generation.
What happens next
Successful usable results consume credits even if they stay as drafts, are later edited or are never published.
A useful tip. Monthly or expiring credits are used before purchased credits. Use the in-app balance rather than estimating from past purchases alone.
Take care. Do not assume discarding, restoring or failing to publish a usable draft returns its generation credits.
Common questions
Will Generate again cost credits?
A new generation you request can create a new charge for a usable result. A technical retry is different; use the offered targeted retry for failed work.
Do extra credits unlock paid features?
No. They add generation capacity but do not change your plan's capabilities.
Does reinstalling give another Free allowance?
No. Free includes 100 credits every 30 days; refreshing or reinstalling does not repeat the allowance within the same period.
If you are still stuck
- If a confirmed purchase is missing, refresh Pricing and check Shopify's approval before paying again. For a disputed result, give support the job and charge references, never payment credentials.
