Before you start
When product search text is missing or needs a useful new version.
- Product Meta means the SEO title and meta description, not the product's main description.
- One successful Product Meta generation costs 3 credits per product.
- The button tells you whether you are making drafts or using Generate & publish.
Steps to follow
- Open Products and check Catalog status.
- Choose a product or a selection. The main all-missing action can include products beyond the visible page.
- Read the item count, credit estimate and publication mode before confirming.
- Follow the job in Jobs if one is created.
- In draft mode, open the result and publish it when ready. In automatic mode, check the publication result and History instead of assuming everything succeeded.
For example
Generating Product Meta for 100 successful products costs 300 credits. A missing-only filter may become shorter after their content is published.
What happens next
Draft mode creates unpublished suggestions. Automatic publication attempts to write the generated content to Shopify as part of the operation.
A useful tip. Use a small sample to check your preferred title style, then work across the full catalog.
Take care. Do not confuse the current table page with the full scope of Generate all missing.
Common questions
Does this rename the product itself?
This workflow targets Shopify SEO title and description fields, not the main product name or body description.
Can I publish all ready results?
Use Publish all drafts when it is offered, and check its confirmation count. It is separate from generating more text.
Why is a completed product no longer in Missing?
A successfully published value can remove it from that filter. Switch to the complete list to find it.
If you are still stuck
- For incomplete results, inspect the job counts. Retry only failed work when available, not successful products again.
