Before you start
When an item looks ready but says This draft is no longer available, or a ready count does not match the draft you can open.
- Check the correct store, collection or product first.
- An old cached preview and the current saved draft can disagree.
- Do not pay for repeated generation just to repair a stale view.
Steps to follow
- Confirm you are in the intended Shopify store and viewing the right item.
- Refresh the collection or product workspace and its drafts once, or reopen Rankora from Shopify Admin.
- Open Jobs and check whether the generation completed, is still active or already published through automatic publication.
- Use a current ready draft if one is available. Check History if the operation published content.
- If the mismatch remains, contact support with the item, job or request ID, time and exact message before requesting a new paid version.
For example
A collection preview restored from an old browser cache can remain visible even though the server no longer offers that particular draft.
What happens next
Refreshing reconciles the view with available records. It does not guarantee recovery of a draft that no longer exists.
A useful tip. Keep a copy of unsaved edits before navigating away or refreshing, where the editor lets you copy the text.
Take care. Do not clear all browser data or repeatedly regenerate before checking the saved job and draft state.
Common questions
Does this mean Shopify content disappeared?
Not necessarily. An unpublished draft and published Shopify content are different records. Check the current Shopify field and History.
Will another generation cost credits?
A new usable generation can consume credits. Investigate the mismatch first.
Can support always restore the draft?
Recovery is not guaranteed. Support needs the actual operation and record state to investigate.
If you are still stuck
- If the job is still active, follow it rather than creating a duplicate. If the result was published automatically, look for the publication instead of an unpublished draft.
