Before you start
When a collection would benefit from useful explanatory content for shoppers.
- Automatic integration uses Rankora's dedicated content field and theme block. It is not the same as automatic publication.
- Custom integration writes to an existing compatible field; your theme or developer handles display.
- Legacy collection description mode replaces the normal description when you publish.
Steps to follow
- Open Collection SEO and choose the collection.
- Read Publishing & storefront. Choose Automatic integration, Custom integration or the legacy description destination deliberately.
- Check the language, instructions and available quality setting. Review the generation estimate.
- Generate content and check the output, links and factual claims.
- Publish using the destination shown. For a separate field, verify its display on the exact collection template.
For example
You can add buying guidance below the product grid using the Rankora block without replacing the collection's existing introduction.
What happens next
A successful publication saves the text to the selected destination. Saving a metafield alone does not guarantee visible storefront placement.
A useful tip. Choose the destination once, verify one collection on the storefront, then scale the content work.
Take care. Do not switch to the normal description just to solve an invisible block. Fix the integration that you intended to use.
Common questions
How many credits does a collection use?
Each successful generated item costs 40 credits at High, 36 at Medium or 32 at Basic. Check the selected quality before starting.
Does Automatic integration publish everything automatically?
No. Integration describes the storage and display method. Read the generation and publication controls separately.
Does Custom integration edit my theme?
No. Rankora writes the chosen field. Your theme or developer is responsible for rendering it.
If you are still stuck
- For a ready draft that cannot open, refresh the collection and drafts before generating again. For invisible published text, check the destination, theme and assigned template.
