Before you start
When your store already has a collection SEO field and an established way to display it.
- Choose from the compatible fields offered by Rankora.
- Check the field's current content before selecting it as a publication target.
- Your theme or developer remains responsible for display.
Steps to follow
- Open Collection SEO and choose Change integration when available.
- Choose Custom integration and select the compatible existing field you intend to use.
- Confirm the destination and note its namespace and key for your developer.
- Publish one checked sample, then verify the assigned collection template renders that exact field.
For example
A theme already using a dedicated collection rich-text field can keep that integration while Rankora supplies its content.
What happens next
Rankora saves approved content to the chosen field. It does not automatically add or change your custom theme rendering.
A useful tip. Ask your developer which exact field the current theme reads before selecting it.
Take care. Do not force an unrelated field or assume all field types accept the same content format.
Common questions
Why is my field not listed?
It may not meet the workflow's compatibility requirements. Confirm its owner, purpose and type instead of choosing a different field at random.
Will this replace existing field content?
Publication writes to the chosen target. Review its current value and the confirmation first.
Is custom display automatic?
No. Your existing theme integration or developer must render the field.
If you are still stuck
- If the saved value exists but is invisible, check the field identifier in the theme and the template assigned to that collection.
